I'm starting with the comments that I do believe that almost any American with a TV, Radio or Computer heard about a few weeks ago and those we're the comments from Congressman Todd Akin. While talking about rape connected to his pro-life stances he made a mighty blunder saying that "Women's Bodies shut down during a legitimate rape." causing great amounts of outrage by many. His ideas, or rather lack of knowledge of female anatomy creates and moment for pause and reflection. As much as most of us would like to give him a few lessons in a not so nice manner, there is a call to realize that he is not the only person with misguided ideas about women's bodies. From that knowledge, we need to know and realize that people running our country need to be informed about what they are making decisions about. Information is power and there need to be a usage of that power. If they can have the money, the healthcare, the fancy education, the fancy cars and vacations. Then I beckon those with privilege and responsibility to learn about the basics of what they are imposing on normal people like us or of course they could just take high school sexual education again. Their Choice.
